Last March, Cory and I decided that it was time to take our kids on a vacation that didn't involve Jeeps, or Boats, or Tents. I know its crazy, because that's what we love. But everybody needs to see new sites, right? So we booked it. (and December was the most
convenient time) A 5 day Carnival Cruise to Catalina and
Ensenada and 9 days in California. We were so excited for such a long time and the anticipation was totally worth it.
Top ten Highlights from our vacation (in no particular order)
1. 80 degree SUNSHINE in December
2. Riding golf carts around on Catalina Island
3. Watching Parker fight Darth Vader at Disneyland
4. All of the yummy food. (especially on the cruise)
5. California Sreamin'
6. Seeing Crazy people on Venice beach doing crazy things
7. New Port Beach at Christmas time
8. Hanging out in Hollywood
9. Swimming, swimming and more swimming
10. Being together for 14 days and sharing it all with Grandma and Papa
The Cruise
Bon Voyage Friends!

Brock, Parker and I won a Dance
contest for doing the twist and shout the first night on the cruise. We won a trophy!

Cruise ship slide

Brock enjoying a burger and fries anytime he wanted to .

Two of my favorite things, Ice cream and Sunshine!

Formal night on the ship

On our way to Catalina Island
Cruisin' around in golf carts at Catalina

This guy totally inspired Parker to buy himself a
ukulele in
Ensenada.

Cory and Jeri at the Blow Hole in
Ensenada

Brock bought this hat and wore it every single chance he had for the rest of the cruise. Everybody kept telling him how nice it looked on him.
Disneyland

Us and Goofy

Brock, Papa, Grandma and T waiting in a line.
Us on the Tower of Terror

Loved the hats!

Parker loved California
Screamin'. I think he went on it about 10 time. Good thing the lines were short for most of the time.

Mom and Pluto

Brock and Parker really loved
Toon Town.

This is Papa after he "peed his pants" on California S
creamin'! He really likes to get a rise out of the boys, so
every time they went on a scary ride he would dump some of his water bottle on himself to make them think he peed his pants.

More
Toon Town

Parker fighting Darth Vader after his Jedi Training. He totally kicked butt and the whole crowd cheered for him.

The Teacups, of course!

This was the main reason for Papa going to Disneyland. He loves a good turkey leg.
Other California Fun

While we were waiting to go to a movie a mall, they had these Human Hamster Balls. It was
hilarious to watch the boys try to run in them.

Grandma and T on a tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills on top of an open air tour bus.
Parker bought
himself these awesome sunglasses on Venice Beach.

Brock met this guy on Venice beach who told him stay in school or someday he will be hanging out on Venice Beach doing tricks with a steel ball in a S
peedo for money.
"The Stars"
.......and the rest of our time was spent at the pool.
