Football Season 2011

Football Season was awesome. Brock and Parker were on the same team and Cory assistant Coached. It was so fun having them play together. I wish they could do it every year. One time, they sacked the quarterback together and here at our house we call that a "Double Proulx". They had a really great coach. His name was Coach Steve Carter. I'm not sure how we ended the season. It seems like we won about half the time. Football season is sure a fun time around here and I can't wait for 2012. Next year, Brock will move on to PeeWees and Parker will be in Gremlins again. So, I guess we will just have wait until high school to see anybody else get "Double Proulxed".

Jagger Baby!

I just want to share this small little wonder with you. Let me start off by being honest, I wasn't quite sure I wanted us (the Edwards and Proulxs) to have another kid, but Justun and Bree ultimately got to make the decision. From the very second I found out he was coming, I decided his name was going to be Jagger. I love the name Jagger and if would have had another baby (which I will not) his name would have been Jagger. I tried really hard to convince Bree and Justun, but again, they got to decide and they picked "Cutler Jasun Edwards". I know, its a great name and sometimes I find myself calling this sweet baby "Cutler". I am so excited to have him in our life. He is perfect. He completes us. (do you sense some ownership here) I am so excited to watch him grow up and be a big part of our life. I'm so glad that Justun and Bree knew what was best for us! Welcome to my life Jagger Baby!

Happy Birthday Christian "Brock" Proulx

Brock had a fun birthday this year. We took him and his friends bowling and for shakes at Arctic Circle. On his actual Birthday, he had a football game and BYU played Utah. He had all of his family over to watch the game and have Cake and Ice Cream. He had a special request. He wanted EVERYBODY to wear Red. Some of those cougar fans just couldn’t do it. But Utah won and Brock thinks they did it for him for his birthday. Brock is such a great kid and we have enjoyed him so much for the last 10 years. I can’t wait to watch him grow for the next 10! Happy Birthday Buddy.

Birthday pancakes for sure!
Cool 10 year old boys

Happy Birthday to you!

Time For Some Football!

Tis’ the season! I have been waiting all year for this. Its the only thing that makes the end of summer okay. Football tryouts were the last week of July this year. Brock and Parker are on the same team and it is so fun! Cory is coaching and I am taking my turn as the team mom. I figured I might as well do it while they are on the same team. I will be so sad next year when we have to separate them. They won’t be able to play together again until High School. They are on the A2 team which is working out well for both of them. We have only won one game, but they are both learning so much and having a blast. Go Silverwolves!!If you want to see some pretty great action shots, check out our team blog

Brock is #44 and Parker is #43.

Happy Birthday AMERICA!

So, I really think I could just copy and post last years 4th of July post right into here and it wouldn't change much. Here's what went down:
Riverton Parade
Softball Tournament
Big BBQ at the Proulx House
Fireworks!
Its the same every year, but we love it. Its my favorite holiday of the whole year. I like that you don't have to buy any presents or decorate. Just spend time with your favorite people, celebrate the amazing country that we live in and be thankful that it's summertime!

How cute are these Phister boys.
Brock and Ike
The Jensens
The Phisters
The Wylies (and Jennilyn)

Friends Forever!

I don't know what it is, but I just really love this picture! I hope Abby and Parker are Friends Forever!

The Last Day Of School & the First

In July we ended 2nd & 3rd grade and started 3rd & 4th.

Brock had 2 teachers in 3rd grade. Mrs. O'Hara and Mrs. Fairbanks. They were both so good to him. He had a great year. This is Brock on his last day of 3rd grade with Mrs. O'Hara.
This is cute Mrs Marsh and Parker on his last day of 2nd grade. She was so great. Parker loved her. This was her first year of teaching and I know that she is going to do amazing things with many kids.
This is actually Brock's 1st day of 4th grade, but on the second day of school. Brock had to miss the first day of school because he had pneumonia. Who the heck gets pneumonia in July? He seemed to catch up just fine and is loving 4th grade. I can't believe that is in 4th grade. CRAZY! But isn't he so handsome?

This is Parker on his first day of 3rd grade. I know...... Weird that he wanted to wear a Riverton Football shirt on the first day of school. Oh well, he is so cute and he knows exactly who he is. He is doing awesome in 3rd grade. I am excited for him because I remember 3rd grade quite well and it really was one of my favorite school years. I hope he loves it too.
