Another Fun Weekend in Moab

Well, you would think that we could get a little more original with our family vacations. Yet, a week and half ago we took another trip to Moab. This time we went with Justun, Bree, Abby and Hadley. We had a blast. We stayed at the same campground that we have grown to love, Moab Valley RV. If ever you have a chance to stay there we highly reccomend it. It's clean there is a playground, a pool and Yes, bathrooms and showers.
The first night we got there, we BBQ'd and just hung out aroung the heater. (okay so one downfall, they don't allow fires) Then the next morning got up early and went on Poison Spider. Justun and Bree rented a Rubicon. I think Justun is convinced that he "needs" one. It was fun. We didn't break or dent anything. Cory put on quite the show by raising a tire in a crack about four and half feet off the ground. I had to make him come down because gas was running out the back of the Jeep and you know that we cannot afford to waste any gas these days. That 5 minutes of showing off proably cost us $20 in gas.
After our ride, we ate at Zax for dinner and hung out around the town. We all got T-shirts. There is a really cool store in Moab that has everything. Its called Walker Drug. While we were there, Abby needed to use the bathroom so Bree asked the sales lady where the bathrooms were and they didn't have any public restrooms. So, Bree told Abby that she would have to wait and Abby informed us that it was okay because "her bum changed its mind!". It was one of the funniest things I have ever heard a child say. They kept us laughing all weekend. We played truth or dare and Bree dared Parker to yell that he loves girls. He absolutely refused. He said that he would "rather lick a tree than say that".
On Saturday we hiked to the delicate arch. It was cool. Quite the hike for little kids who a too big to be carried and too little to not ask "how much farther". Parker did the whole hike without ever being carried. Brock had shoulder ride for a while, simply because Parker (along with Cory) tricked him into it so that Parker could say that he was the only kid who was able to make it the whole way. I think Haddie would have walked by herself the whole time if Bree and Justun would have let her and if we had one week to do the 3 mile hike there and back. When we got back we swam and played in the park, played Uno and just hung out. We always have so much fun with the Edwards and we can't wait until they get that Rubicon, so we can do it more often. But until then, LET'S GO BOATING!!

Looks like a lot of fun. We had a great time in Moab last year when we went for Spring Break.
